Jerusalem: Khan’s roof – The iconic Dome of the Rock in the background. Gaza (78 km from Jerusalem): At the Gaza seaport that remains blocked off from the world. Bethlehem (10 km from Jerusalem): At the Church of the Nativity, birthplace of Jesus Christ. Ramallah (15 km from Jerusalem): Qalandia checkpoint (between Ramallah and Jerusalem), near the major apartheid wall that cuts off the West Bank from Jerusalem. Jenin (75 km from Jerusalem): Atop a mountain, with the Marj Ibn Amer valley and the 1948 occupied Palestinian lands in the background.
